Welcome to 10 Star Care
CQC registered and committed to delivering safe, effective and compassionate care in line with national standards.
At 10Star Care, we provide professional, home care that allows you or your loved one to remain living safely and comfortably at home.
Our service was founded from personal experience of seeing how dementia care did not always reflect culture, dignity or genuine human warmth. This inspired us to create a care service that treats every client as if they were our own family.

Our Net Zero Commitment
10STARRECRUITMENT LTD T/A 10 Star Care is committed to achieving net zero carbon emissions
by 2050 or earlier, in line with the NHS net zero ambition and the commitments set out in
Delivering a ‘Net Zero’ National Health Service.
As a provider of home care services working alongside the NHS and local authorities, we recognise
that climate change is a health emergency, and that the way we deliver care contributes to the
environmental footprint of the health and care system. We are committed to playing our part in
reducing that footprint while continuing to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
Our commitments:
Travel and mileage – care visits are the largest source of our emissions. We plan
geographically clustered care rounds to minimise travel between visits, encourage walking
for local visits, support car sharing, and will prioritise lower-emission and electric vehicles as
our service grows.
Digital-first working – we use electronic care records, digital rostering and electronic call
monitoring, reducing paper use and unnecessary journeys to and from the office.
Energy and premises – we minimise energy use at our office through efficient lighting,
heating controls and responsible switch-off practices, and consider energy efficiency in all
future premises decisions.
Waste and resources – we reduce, reuse and recycle wherever possible, dispose of clinical
and confidential waste responsibly, and order consumables (including PPE) in quantities that
avoid waste.
Procurement – we consider environmental impact when selecting suppliers and products,
and favour suppliers with their own credible net zero commitments.
Our people – we raise staff awareness of sustainable working practices through induction
and ongoing communication, and welcome staff ideas for reducing our environmental
impact.
Accountability: this commitment is owned by our Director and reviewed at least annually as part of
our governance arrangements. We will measure what we can – starting with business mileage and
energy use – set reduction actions each year, and report on progress as our organisation grows.
